Yesterday, we lived directly at what happened at YouTube's headquarters on Sherry Street, California. Where a woman threw a 9-millimeter pistol and wounded three people. A few minutes later she committed suicide to stop this horror.
San Bruno police confirmed a few hours ago that the shooter was Nasim Aghdam, a 39-year-old YouTube user who on many occasions claimed to be very angry at the YouTube platform.
On her website, we can find links to her social networks, but all of her YouTube channels that were published in Turkish, Persian, and English were deleted and her account was also deleted on Instagram. However, its Telegram channel is still active and we can find dozens of videos and photographs.
Last year, Nasim Aghdam published a series of videos criticizing YouTube's policies, claiming she was very angry that YouTube did not pay her for some videos after censoring them, and indicated that the content that was selected was hand-picked.
In fact, on a website, we can still see the screenshots you're complaining about the few money you're earning for creating videos: "$ 0.10 vs. 300,000 views?" Below these images are videos from famous YouTube users like Casey Neistat who also complain about changes in how YouTube is monetized.
