Huawei launches AppGallery worldwide

Huawei today launched its AppGallery App Store worldwide and is available for download on all its smart phones. The new store comes pre-installed on the Huawei P20 and Huawei P20 Pro phones that were launched recently.

The store includes 5 tabs: Featured, Category, Top and Manager, and the Me tab for user settings and application preferences.

Since Huawei is one of the largest smart phone manufacturers in China, many applications in different categories target Asian markets such as Amap for mobility, WeChat for communication, QQMusic for entertainment, as well as regular applications such as Facebook, Instagram and YouTube, along with free gifts and content within the store .

To use the store, Huawei users must activate the option to download third-party applications and go to the following link wap2.hispace.hicloud.com where the application will automatically download, but requires a Huawei ID.

You can disable the store from the Settings menu on the Me tab, or you can completely remove the store and all apps you download and install on your phone will still be there.

Huawei says the store is suitable for ordinary users and for all family members of all ages, and is specifically designed to promote high-quality content, value-added offerings, and enhanced applications to Huawei.

The store will be launched for the old Huawei phones during the second quarter of 2018, and the time to update varies depending on the device type and the user's geographic range.

Huawei is preparing to launch a new smartphone in May focusing on photography and artificial intelligence technology.
