Sudden news: Facebook will collect Whatsab, Messenger and instgram in one application

Facebook wants to take advantage of its dominant position in the instant messaging industry. Mark Zuckerberg announced that Watsab, Facebook Messenger and Instagram will be merged sooner or later, and users of the three platforms will be able to send and receive messages from their contacts from other Facebook services.

A new report from The New York Times states that although the integration of these three platforms will result in thousands of employees working together in the restructuring of the platforms at the lowest level, the three applications will continue to operate as independent services, the only difference is That the structure responsible for the messaging service will be unified between Wattab and Facebook Messenger and Instagram. In addition, Facebook intends to maintain encryption from party to party in the messaging service between the three applications.
In this announcement, the company stated that it aims to create the best possible messaging experience, offering people fast, simple and reliable service. While there is currently no estimated date for this change, which is undoubtedly one of the most important stages in the company's history, reports indicate that the change will be implemented before the end of this year, or during the first months of 2020.
One of the main questions that arises after this news is why Facebook made this change, in this particular case it seems that Mark does this to keep all users of those platforms in the same platform.
