Google has acquired the Tenor GIF app, adding an animated library to its vast online search engine. The company said in a statement on Tuesday it had purchased the Tenor application for an undisclosed sum and plans to integrate GIF files into Google Images and apply them to the virtual keyboard.
Most people now use Google Images to find more information about a topic, and also to help them communicate and express themselves. This comes at a time when millions of GIF searches are recorded every day, as Cathy Edwards, Google's photo manager at "We have continued to develop a Google search engine to meet each of these needs, and today we are bringing GIF files at the top of the page."
GIFs have gained popularity in both Android and iOS, as well as on desktop computers. Tenor had more than 300 million users last year, surpassing 12 billion monthly searches in February. The company also has a growing business, with GIFs sponsored by companies like Dunkin 'Donuts, Nissan and AT & T
Tenor has previously raised more than $ 30 million in funding for his project. Google said it plans to keep it as a separate application, and if you want to try it, you can download it from the following link: link
